Newsletter: 16/9/5: Counting to Don’t Hibernate Fair and Our First Write Group Meeting
All stories start with a disruption of comfort and normalcy. Things move fast then. And the story is off. The Don’t Hibernate Fair is coming fast — Thursday night, starting at 6:30 pm. Our first Write Group meeting follows on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
It’s the weather that is the disruption. What happened to it? Despite the drop in temperature, I hope you all had a great Labour Day weekend. And I hope you are ready to start another prolific year of writing and sharing.
I worked on our blog this Summer. The newsletters are up. More prompts are about to go up; I finally gathered the prompts we used for certain months. We also have some Holiday — Halloween and Christmas — or Seasonal — Autumn and Winter — prompts.
Check our blog out. It is for you to use. Is there anything else you want on it?
(I still have to create July and August competition pages; I was too busy this Summer to get to them.)
I hope to see you Friday night, and maybe Thursday night as well.
Make this a year you write what you always wanted. If you leave it until there is a better time, a better time will never come.
Start writing. Keep writing. Mostly have fun. See you Friday,
