We start our prompt offerings with four writing prompt boot camps. These camps are designed to propel you into that state of writing where your creativity and your joy of writing fuel your desire to explore your thoughts, imagination and experiences and share these with yourself and others.
- The Writer’s Digest Writing Prompt Boot Camp is an excerpt of the 16 best writing prompts in Writer’s Digest Presents A Year of Writing Prompts.
- The Writers Market 2014 Get Started Write Challenge gives you 31 writing exercises to jump start your writing all over again.
- Joe Bunting’s The Write Practice 14 Prompts is not just a list of prompts nor a list of exercises, it is a course in writing better.
- Similarly, Julie Bogart’s Brave Writer Freewriting Frenzy walks you through the freewriting process while offering 19 types of exercises. Freewriting is most closely related to quickwriting. It is written for a younger audience and their parents, but the exercises and ideas still hold true for adult writers.
All prompts come from their respective owners and are not made by the Write Group. We do not claim ownership of them.
These prompts can also be accessed in the Write Group’s Curated Prompts folder. For additional prompts from these sites refer to the Writer’s Digest Prompts, the Write Practice Prompts and the Brave Writer Prompts.
Refer to the Prompts item in the menu above for even more prompts.
